Oh the weather outside is frightful...

Merry Christmas everyone... (all four of you who might read this)

It has been snowing all day here in North Ogden, UT (I am at Casey's parent's house). My first "white" Christmas! I gotta say I thought it would be somewhat more enchanting. Mostly it's just made it hard to get around. It is gorgeous though! I like how peaceful and quiet everything gets when it snows.

Who's the nerd in the shorts? The same nerd that hardly wears a hoodie let alone a jacket and is frequently found slushing through snow in flip flops. That nerd is my husband and he's a machine!

So about 10 minutes ago my father in law (Daddio) went to the glass doors to looks at what the weather was doing. After a minute he whispers, "guys... come here really! Really slowly..." So my brother in law (Ammo) and I go tip toeing over. "Look at the air conditioner unit." So we looked and there was a honkin' owl! It was gorgeous! It whipped it's snowy white head around and stared at us with huge golden eyes. It was amazing! In case you didn't already know I love animals so it was a great Christmas surprise!

You know it was brought to my attention today that Casey and I might actually have some interesting things to share with you all. We were at a brunch with family and friends. The group was retelling all our favorite funny stories. Simple things that you don't really think about until someone else tells a similar story. I realized some really funny things have happened to us and our family over the years. One of our friends said, "I hope you are writing these things down to share with your kids!". So I thought maybe when I can't think of anything to write about I will write these things... starting tomorrow. Hope you find as much humor in them as I do!

Well, I've done it...

Due to the increasing number of loved ones that are living far away I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and become a blogger.  Dum, dum, dum...

I am somewhat intimidated by this prospect. I do not consider myself to be especially clever or funny by any means and my life is not exactly action packed.  Maybe blogging is something you get better at with time.

At any rate, here we go...
